Hugh Bowman and Kris Lees combined to make it two wins from successive starts with Tops A win when she won the Country And You Class One (1000m) yesterday. Tops A Win was backing up after winning her maiden at Gosford six days earlier. Bowman allowed Tops A Win to settle back in the field then took advantage of the cutaway to sneak along the fence and grab the lead near the line to win by half a length from the Pat Farrell trained Vital Gee with the favourite Happy Rocker a further neck away third. “We decided to let her settle back at Gosford and it worked so wanted to do the same thing today,” Bowman said.
